Mark 1: 32 – 37
By sunset the courtyard was filled with the sick and demon-possessed, brought to Jesus for healing; and a huge crowd of people from all over the city of Capernaum gathered outside the door to watch.  Jesus healed great numbers of sick folk that evening and ordered many demons to come out of their victims.  (But He refused to allow the demons to speak, because they knew Who He was).
The next morning He was up long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray.
Later, Simon and the others went out to find Him and told Him, “Everyone is asking for You.”
At sunset Jesus had the crowds at HIS feet, by sunrise He is at the FATHER’S feet.
C.S.Lewis observed,  “It comes every moment you wake up each morning.  All your wishes and hopes for the day rush at you like wild animals.  The first job each morning consists in simply shoving them all back; in listening to that other voice, taking that other point of view, letting that larger, stronger, quieter life come flowing in.”                               – Mere Christianity
Pray that you will start the day at the feet of Jesus however busy the day appears to be.
